The Importance of India is a channel to provide learning about, from, with and in India. It features videos created for the U.S. Department of State's Passport to India initiative. These were developed by the Ohio State University and IndoGenius. Passport to India was established to encourage and enable more young Americans to study abroad, intern and even start up in India. In order to build the next generation of leaders in the US-India partnership, we work to spur greater mobility of young Americans to India for study, internship, and entrepreneurial pursuits. The initiative was launched in 2011 to create a hub for U.S.-India higher education and is registered as a philanthropic foundation housed at The Ohio State University and IndoGenius in India.
